In a story by W.C. Tuttle (proclaimed in the trailer as the "world's
champion thrill and action writer"), Sheriff Red Davidson (Buck Jones)
resigns in shame when his pal "Silent" Slade is convicted of murder and
escapes. Red and Silent go undercover to find the real killer and find
themselves thick in the middle of a murderous diamond smuggling ring, led by
perennial screen baddie Walter Miller. Red must deal with the various
factions of the smuggling ring, including his love interest, the daughter of
an honest rancher unwittingly involved in the crimes. To restore his
reputation as an honest sheriff, Red must find a killer, clear his friend's
name, and bring the smuggling ring to justice.
